It’s just as comfortable on the road as it is on a racetrack, delivering the sharp handling you’d expect from a high-end sports car. For even more excitement, the Huracán Sterrato features a raised suspension, a snorkel for air intake, and special all-terrain tires for some fun light off-roading. Overall, the Huracán lineup is known for its bold personality and eye-catching looks, making it stand out from rivals like Ferrari and McLaren.
What’s New for 2024?
For 2024, there aren’t any major changes to the Huracán. However, the EVO model is no longer available as a coupe and will only be offered as the Spyder, which has a convertible top. Unfortunately, this may be the last year for the Huracán. To celebrate, there will be a very limited run of 10 special edition Huracán STJ cars. These STJ models will have adjustable dampers, racing tires on 20-inch wheels, and improved aerodynamics to enhance performance on the racetrack. The Huracán will be replaced by a new plug-in hybrid model in 2025, which will have a brand-new name.
Pricing and Which One to Buy
The 2024 Lamborghini Huracán starts at $249,865 and can go up to $348,773, depending on the model and options you choose.

Based on our experience, we recommend the rear-wheel drive Huracán Tecnica. It’s a lighter version of the STO, with a more relaxed and road-friendly feel, making it more affordable too. The Tecnica is also the only Huracán besides the STO that comes with rear-wheel drive. It features rear-wheel steering, new aerodynamic parts, an improved exhaust system, and better brake cooling, while still packing the same powerful engine as the STO. The Tecnica is powerful but more comfortable for everyday driving compared to the STO.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The Huracán has a powerful 5.2-liter V-10 engine located behind the seats, which makes a thrilling sound when it revs up to 8,500 RPM. This engine produces 631 horsepower in most models, except for the rugged Sterrato, which has a slightly lower version with 602 horsepower. All Huracán models come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that shifts quickly, either on its own or when the driver uses paddle shifters.
In our tests, the all-wheel-drive Evo coupe went from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and completed a quarter-mile in 10.4 seconds at 135 mph. We also drove the convertible Evo Spyder, which showed great performance and added some extra excitement to the ride. The Huracán Sterrato was also a lot of fun, reaching 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
Every Huracán now includes rear-wheel steering, which helps with handling. It also has a smart system called LDVI that adjusts to how the driver is driving. While we were impressed with the Tecnica’s responsive feel and comfortable ride, its steering feedback wasn’t as sharp at normal speeds compared to the STO. Nevertheless, the Tecnica is still a thrilling car for both everyday driving and the racetrack.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
The EPA rates the Huracán at 13 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway, giving it a combined rating of 15 mpg. Most buyers of a brand-new Lamborghini probably won’t worry too much about fuel economy. However, it’s important to note that all Huracán models face a gas guzzler tax because of their low fuel efficiency. We haven’t tested any model on our 75-mph highway route yet, so we can’t provide details on real-world fuel use.
